Warranty Service Terms

("the Company") offers the lipro Warranty Service ("the Service") based on the lipro Warranty Service Terms and Conditions ("these Terms").
Customers must review and agree to these Terms before using the Service.

Article 1 (Scope of these Terms)

Products manufactured by the Company are eligible for the Service.
The Service is not available from overseas and can only be used by customers residing in Japan.
The Service covers only the main unit of the product; accessories (such as remote controls and dedicated adapters) are not covered by the warranty.

Article 2 (Warranty Period)

2.1. Warranty Period

As a general rule, the warranty period is three years from the date of purchase. However, for light source (lamp unit, etc.) parts included in the product body, the warranty period is one year from the date of purchase.

2.2. How to Use the Warranty Service

If you wish to use the service, please contact the lipro Support Center listed below.
After the Support Center confirms the cause of the malfunction of the repair-requested item, it will determine the necessity of repair. Subsequently, to proceed with the repair process and resolve the customer's issue more quickly, the Company will provide a replacement unit (refurbished product) with equivalent or superior performance and perform replacement repair.
The faulty unit will be collected at the time of replacement. However, if the Company determines that collection is unnecessary, the customer is responsible for proper disposal.

Article 3 (Usage Fees)

3.1. Service Usage Fees

If within the warranty period, the Service can be used free of charge.
If outside the warranty period, repairs will be accepted for a fee.

3.2 Breakdown of Fees for Service Use

The total of the following fees will constitute the Service usage fee.

A. Repair Service Fee Outside Warranty Period (Total of parts cost + labor cost + administrative fee)
The cost of the Service varies by model, so the Company's Support Center will inform you of the exact amount before initiating the repair process.

B. Shipping Fee
If within the warranty period, the Company will bear the shipping costs.
If outside the warranty period, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs.

Article 4 (Warranty Period for Replacement Units (Refurbished Products))

The warranty period for replacement units (refurbished products) is 90 days from the completion date of the replacement repair.
If a defect occurs within 90 days after replacement, the Service will provide free repair. However, if the warranty period of the original device exceeds 90 days, the warranty period of the original device will take precedence.

Article 5 (Cases Where These Terms Do Not Apply)

5.1. Repair services cannot be provided in the following situations:

  • If, as a result of inspection by our Customer Support, it is determined that repair is not necessary.
  • If proof of purchase cannot be provided. Also, if the proof of purchase is a document and does not contain the necessary information specified by our company, such as the store of purchase, date of purchase of the applicable device, model name, or product serial number.
  • Device malfunction due to human factors (including damage caused by intentionally dropping it, etc.).
  • If aftermarket service for the product has ended.

5.2. Free repair will not be provided even within the warranty period in the following situations:

  • If the proof of purchase does not include necessary information for verifying the warranty period, such as the date of purchase.
  • If the purchase was made from an unofficial or non-affiliated online or physical store.
  • If there is external damage or device malfunction due to human causes.
  • If the product's nameplate, SN barcode, or seal has been peeled off, damaged, or is unidentifiable, or shows signs of tampering.
  • If there is a malfunction due to misuse or improper handling that deviates from the usage instructions described in the product manual.
  • If there is a malfunction or defect due to modification, unauthorized repair, or products from other companies.
  • If there is a malfunction or damage caused by transport after product arrival, dropping during product movement, impact, or submersion in water.
  • In cases of damage due to theft, loss/misplacement, fraud/embezzlement, and malicious acts by a third party.
  • In cases of damage due to force majeure (fire, flood, lightning, traffic accident, etc.).
  • Other cases where the Company deems it not to comply with the regulations.

Article 6 (Notes on Applying These Terms)

When returning a faulty unit, please ensure to include both the main unit and accessories (remote control).
The Company shall not be liable for any losses, loss of profits, or lost opportunities incurred by the customer due to their inability to use the product, regardless of whether the Company could foresee such damages. Furthermore, the Company shall not be liable for damages resulting from special circumstances (indirect damages, lost profits, accident compensation, damage to items other than our products, customer's business losses, etc.).

Article 7 (Prohibited Actions)

  • Making false registrations, notifications, or declarations when applying for the Service, applying for a warranty, or otherwise using the Service.
  • Using the Service by impersonating a third party.
  • Using the Service for fraudulent purposes.
  • Assigning, subcontracting, selling, or inheriting rights or obligations arising from the service usage agreement, or contractual status, to a third party without the Company's consent.
  • Infringing or potentially infringing on the intellectual property rights, ownership, or other rights of the Company or a third party.
  • Infringing or potentially infringing on the privacy of a third party.
  • Defaming the Company or a third party, or damaging their honor or credibility, or potentially doing so.
  • Interfering with the use of the Service by other users.
  • Accessing the equipment of the Company or a third party without authorization, placing excessive load, or otherwise obstructing the provision and operation of the Service, or potentially doing so.
  • Obstructing the Company's business activities, or potentially doing so.
  • Causing disadvantage or damage to the Company or a third party, or potentially doing so.
  • Criminal acts or acts leading to criminal acts, or potentially doing so.
  • In addition to the above items, acts that violate or potentially violate laws, public order and morals, these Terms, or other agreements.

Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)

These Terms may be revised at the Company's discretion without prior notice.
In such cases, the revised and latest Terms will apply to the conditions of use for the Service, so please check the latest content.
Revisions to these Terms under this article may include, but are not limited to, shortening the warranty period of this warranty service, restricting or excluding eligible products, or changing, restricting, or abolishing the content of this warranty service.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Terms shall become effective when posted on the Company's website.
